More on the 1971 Genocide of East Pakistan

It is important to note that the genocide committed in East Pakistan, now known as Bangladesh was conducted by the central government on its own people.  Armed forces are supposed to defend and protect.  Not attack, rape and kill its own population.  In 1971, those of Bengali ethnicity were Pakistanis--they just happened to speak a different language than their Western counterparts.  When your own military, that is in place to preserve order and safety, turns their guns upon you--then what do you do?  It is perhaps, one of the worst security scenarios imaginable.
